Thought For Today

Impulsive decisions can cause much pain and even disaster. An impulsive, disobedient decision cost King Saul his leadership.

Many of us may be saying: “Lord, I don’t know whether I can keep going, I am losing hope, I am losing vision - I am losing my faith.” The Lord says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

You know, The Lord, today doesn’t want you to keep on doing... He wants you to start being. He died for you, He gave His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to die for you and me so that we might have the opportunity of eternal life.

In these terrible times in which we are living where there is so much suffering, so much fear, people are very, very sensitive. We really need to produce the fruit of the Spirit...

In this world today where it appears that just anything goes, that standards have just fallen by the way - you and I must walk the talk...

As a young man I was very shy - I couldn’t speak to more than two people at one time...

Our faith is in Jesus, not so much in what He did but rather on Him, Himself. Not the miracles…

People today are needing love, not judgement. We are living in very difficult, trying times...

The struggle that you and I are having is in the mind, it's not in the heart.

I remember having a real heart to heart chat with Jesus years and years ago, sitting on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River.

When God is with us, things change dramatically!

One of my favourite scriptures in the Bible is 2 Corinthians 5:17, which states very clearly:

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
