Nine Steps To Lose Weight And Become Healthier
- Drink more water, a minimum of 64 oz. a day
- Remove processed foods such as chips, cookies, and foods containing aspartame
- Only eat whole foods, real foods, nothing manufactured. Stick to fruits, veggies, and meats, something not created in a factory
- Eat more slowly, chew longer
- Take smaller portions
- Get adequate sleep so your body can recharge and properly process the foods that go into it. Seek to get 7-8 hours each night
- Focus on the foods you eat, stop mindlessly eating as you watch Netflix or work, pay attention to what and when you’re eating
- Give your body time to rest. utilize intermittent fasting. This is when you go 12-18 hours without eating anything. And no, you don’t have to starve yourself all day, if you stop eating at 8 in the evening and have breakfast at 8 the following morning, you’ve successfully fasted for 12 hours. It’s simple, and it reduces late-night snacking
- Keep a positive mindset. Don’t see giving up fatty foods or going to the gym as sacrificing too much. Instead, see it as gaining healthy, longevity ad the ability to see your grandkids and great-grandkids.
