Rhea returns this week with a trophy case full of Three Swings Awards, another round of playoff predictions, and an interview with photographer and baseball superfan A.W. Klass!

It's a packed episode, with consideration of the Brewers' promising underdog performance, the MLB's problematic disparities in dealing with substance abuse and domestic abuse, the Cubs asking-for-trouble attitude in putting the infamous billy goat on their World Series ring, and the virtues of playing the small ball instead of a home run game.

Plus, photographer and baseball superfan A.W. Klass joins Rhea for a conversation on relating queer identity to sports fandom, the choice between creating a radical community or radically infiltrating extant communities (or both), and purple silk yarmulkes that may or may not be heirlooms from Prince.

Rhea's back with another in-depth look at the US Women's National Team, this time with a profile of Emily Tsujikawa. Plus, a preview of playoff matchups, another deeply felt apology to Rockies fans, a look at the way the MLB and MLB Tonight are handling the allegations against Roberto Osuna, and a case for women's baseball being vital to the health of the sport.

Also, meditations on putting political pain and anger aside in favor of happiness, and a play-by-play recount of the double play Rhea's team turned at their last game!

In the wake of Daniel Murphy's acquisition by the Cubs, Rhea breaks down Murphy's history of homophobic rhetoric and poses a basic question: thirteen years after Billy Bean's involuntary retirement from major league baseball, why does it remain impossible for pro athletes to come out?

Plus Rhea weighs in on the women's baseball world cup, division race updates, and whether or not Jacob deGrom's 10 win season is Cy Young worthy.

RHEA IS BACK just in time for the Division Races to heat up! Rhea talks the Dodgers terrible August and whether or not it spells disaster for their postseason chances. Will the miracle A's catch the Astros in the AL West? Are the statistically dominant Red Sox somehow underrated? Cleveland is running away with the AL Central; what are their chances in the postseason? And Atlanta and Philly are running away from the Nationals in the NL East. Rhea has thoughts and predictions on all your postseason contenders.

Plus Rhea talks baseball fights, beanballs, and fake rivalries. And recaps their experiences at the Baseball for All 2018 Nationals in Rockford, IL. Big thanks to all the Threebies who attended!

It was a difficult week to be a fan of the MLB and Rhea returns from Dublin to break it down, talking the shame of the Houston Astros' acquisition of Roberto Osuna and the offensive high school Twitter histories of Sean Newcomb and Trea Turner (and their respective apologies). Plus Rhea finds hope in a Sean Doolittle Twitter thread and talks being better at baseball and life.

After a brief rain delay, Rhea Butcher returns to talk the importance of therapy and community college, the world's only ethical billionaire, and of course baseball. Home Run Derby roundup. All Star Game MVP Alex Bregman's hitting mechanics. All Star Game snubs. Keon Broxton's all time great catch and the importance of exuberance. Kik Hernandez and the "fragile masculinity" meme.
