Has God called you? How do you move forward in that calling? How can your calling help you move your life forward? For some, they just seem to slip into their calling naturally; while others struggle to understand their own calling. But your calling is not as mysterious as it seems - in fact, it can be quite practical. 

Following our Child Dedication service, we look at the story of Hannah and Samuel for inspiration in how we navigate believing for more while we are still disappointed with our current situation. Frustrations can spill over in many areas of life, so how do we navigate that? Where can we draw inspiration and encourage from? And what does God say to us in these most challenging moments?

Today we dedicated fifteen children to the Lord. Excited about our next generation!

God requires us to have faith. But how can you be sure your faith is in the right things? How can you be sure your faith is working? Our faith meant for more than just getting us to heaven; but God gave us faith to bring heaven to earth. In order for heaven to come to earth, it has to come through us.

“What’s Next?”
Wherever you are in life, you have a purpose. Wherever you are on your spiritual
journey, you are not alone; and the good news is, the journey has been marked out for
you. While it can be overwhelming when you’re uncertain about your spiritual
purpose, God has certainly created you for a specific reason; and it’s time to step into
it.

Luke 15

Today's message looks at Luke 14:12-24 and asks the question, "Who is God calling?" Is God calling you? Is God calling someone around you? What does He want, and how can we know? Sometimes, we make the complicated things simple and the simple things complicated. Fortunately, the Word of God is clear on this matter.

Do you need to “forgive God?” Even though we technically can’t forgive God (since He never sins or does wrong) many of us are disappointed In God, that He didn’t do something He could have done but didn’t. We don’t understand. It hurts. And the more we think about it, the worse it gets.

Are you having a hard time forgiving yourself? We often hold ourselves to higher
standard than we hold anyone else to, and a higher standard than God holds us to. If
Jesus paid the price for all our sins (past, present, and future), then why can we not
forgive ourselves? Perhaps the better question is: How can we forgive ourselves?

Unforgiveness is very common in our world today; it’s also the source of a lot of pain,
anxiety, bitterness, and even physical sickness. We could be blocking the very flow of
God – heaven’s answer to our biggest needs – by simply holding on to something that
is too painful to carry but too hard to put down. Just let it go.
