One of the benefits of being headstrong is that it helps us to be self-aware and situationally aware so we can navigate through the difficulties and successes of life and relationship with confidence, competence and and compassion.

And it's also key to understanding the soul, and how God's created you to operate. If you don't understand how you're created to operate, you won't understand the function of your emotions. You won't understand how to renew your mind, how to guide your mind as it were. It will subconsciously keep getting you to do the same things over and over again. You're always gonna be in a cycle of old thinking…

So what is headstrong? So when I use the phrase headstrong, I'm referring to our soul. To our science would call it your psyche. The Bible would call it your heart, more specifically, our mind, will, and emotion.

Being headstrong means we're continually growing and developing our soul and helping it be strong and stable so that our spirit man can operate through it.
