2 Kings 3: Moab Revolts Against Israel | Like the American revolution sparked by taxes, the Moabites have had enough of paying tribute to Israel, and revolt. As the King of Moab is losing in 2 Kings 3, he sacrifices his own son, causing the Israelites to feel revolt in their stomachs, and so they return home from battle, with the rebellion unresolved.
