In reading the medical apartheid and killing the black body I came across some interesting information that made me question are we getting the best medical care possible especially in African American communities.... Things that make you think

Sometimes we have to be reminded of how powerful the words we speak are. We are so quick to release our emotions in the words we say that we dont really understand that it could be those exact words could be what is keeping us there. Let's be cautious in how we speak to any given situation.

My husband "Slim" & I took the time to show some transparency as we navigate our marriage, not that our blueprint is the right way, but this is our way to show you that every marriage has detours and pitstops, but it's up to you to reroute and keep moving forward as the unit you are called to be.

Why do we put so much pressure on ourselves to celebrate one holiday, as if it makes us less human to serve and give within our means

Human and sex trafficking is an issue that is on a rise, especially amongst women of color... Where is the media coverage or awareness, there isn't much so it's up to us to arm ourselves with knowledge and protect each other.
