There’s a part of all of us that images ourselves as the heroes of the stories going on around us. In reality many of us feel like extras. Today we reflect on the life of Ananias (don’t worry nobody’s ever heard of him) and we ask ourselves what does it look like to live a history-making life?

Faith

Joy

If you ask an average person what words come to mind when they think about Christians “joy” is probably not high on their list. And yet Jesus was full of joy. In this message we explore the kind of joy Jesus talked about and discover how to achieve it in our lives.

Generosity

Almost every writer in the New Testament talks somewhere about the importance of practicing “hospitality”, yet we don’t talk about it much in the modern church. Today we explore this important word: what it means, why we should do it, and the value it has to our mission to impact the world with the good news of Jesus.

Amazing Grace

Love Like Jesus

So as we think about purpose as a church we’re asking “what kind of people should we be at TIDE church?” And when Jesus talked about the kind of people his followers should be, the most important thing for him was LOVE: love God and love others … the way I have loved you

The Path

Luke gives us an inspiring description of the early church (Acts 2:42-47). How does that ideal impact our church in the 21st century. After looking at our mission and purpose last week, this week we ask the question: how are we going to get there? Where are we going?

Temptation

We don’t like to admit it and we definitely don’t like to talk about it. But everyone knows the voice of temptation. Those voices in our minds that tell us “it’s OK - everyone does it - no one will know”. Many of us struggle with temptation and this week we’re going to talk honestly about what we can do to overcome temptation in our lives
