Matt Vierling made his return to the Tigers lineup after missing the beginning of the season due to injury and hit a two run single. Gleyber Torres 2-run double and Colt Keith’s RBI double in the first inning accounted for the other Tigers' RBIs, but the Guardians have now won 3 in a row against the Tigers marking the first 3-game losing streak for the Detroit Tigers since the opening series against the LA Dodgers. Detroit Tigers will try to earn a win on Sunday to avoid the four game sweep.
