Jack Flaherty started on the mound for the Detroit Tigers and was solid tossing 6 innings scattering 5 hits while allowing two earned runs – a home run off the bat of Elias Diaz. San Diego Padres starter Nick Pivetta was even more impressive tossing 7 scoreless and scattering just two hits while striking out six. Detroit Tigers and San Diego Padres will play the rubber match of the series tomorrow afternoon.
