The USC Trojans has big fourth quarter comeback victory on
Friday, but everyone’s attention is focused on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish’s
crushing blowout defeat to the Michigan Wolverines. Emotions were running so
high we had to record the podcast right after the game Saturday night. Things
did not go well for the Irish. The Ann Arbor rain rendered the Notre Dame
offense was incompetent against Michigan’s defense. Irish quarterback Ian Book
was unable to do anything, and in a change from everything we’ve seen so far
this season the Notre Dame defense no showed against the Wolverines. We also
take stock of who has played well this season for the Fighting Irish and what
to expect for the rest of the season. To change the mood on the podcast we
shift our focus to USC’s victory at Colorado. True freshman Kedon Slovis looked
like a star leading a fourth quarter comeback for the Trojans. Clay Helton was
able to get a big road victory keeping dreams of a PAC-12 South title alive. We
can’t stay completely positive and do gripe about USC wasting their three star
