  • the power of interrupting your patterns

In this episode, I talk about the unconscious patterns that influence the direction of our lives. If we don't like the outcomes we are presented with in life, I find that a good place to start is examining our patterns. I talk about how this shows up in relation to our mental health, relationships, and manifestation practice.

  • shifting from limited to expansive thinking

In this episode, I'm talking about a recent theme in my life - shifting from limited to expansive thinking, and the role it plays in manifestation. We discuss moving through patterns of limited or fear-based thinking, and how healing our inner child can help us to shift more into an expansive view of what's possible for us.

  • learning how to thrive as a multi-passionate

In this episode, I talk about my experience as someone who never really resonated with the idea of having one passion, purpose, or "true calling". I talk about how we are taught at a young age to put ourselves in neat and tidy boxes, and expected to stick with it in order to get anywhere in life. I believe there is a category of folks, like myself, who are here to experiment and try various things. To flow with the seasons of life and see where that takes us.

  • why are we afraid to be seen trying?

In this episode, I talk about how the fear of being seen “trying” - in other words as showing up as anything less than perfect, keeps us in a cycle of staying small, self-sabotaging, and never trying anything new. I talk about the ways in which this fear comes to be, as well as some of the things we can do for ourselves to move through it.

  • the shadow self and the power that shame holds over us

In this episode, I talk about the shadow self and the power of taking a deep look at the parts of yourself you may have been unwilling to in the past. I discuss what the shadow self is and how it comes to be, how we can get familiar with and spot our shadow self, and finally how we can heal our shame and integrate our shadow self. I also share some of the many things that I have felt shame about over the years and actively suppressed or rejected those parts of myself.

  • getting out of your own way & living a life of purpose

In this episode, we talk about some of the habits, behaviours, thoughts that keep us blocked from a life we truly want to live. I talk about what it means to “be in your own way” and how working through some of these behaviours and defence mechanisms can help us to settle back into our natural state of being.

  • things I would tell my younger self

In this episode, I share one of my favourite prompts for self-discovery and connecting with your inner child: What would you go back and tell your younger self if you could? Before diving into the episode, I talk about this type of exploration through the lens of Inner Child Work and how we can use it to shift narratives we are still operating from in the present.

  • the power of focusing on one healthy habit at a time

In this episode, I discuss some of the pitfalls of forming new habits, particularly the tendency to take on way too much and overcommit ourselves in ways that are not sustainable. I believe this tendency is rooted in comparison and feeling like we are never “enough”, which keeps us stuck in a cycle of overwhelm and avoidance.

I talk about an alternate approach to habit formation, focusing on one healthy habit at a time. I share some of the research that substantiates this approach as well as some tips to set yourself up for success.

  • a different approach to setting new year's resolutions

In this episode, we talk all things New Year’s resolutions. I’ve found this to be a somewhat controversial topic, with many weighing in on their attitudes towards setting resolutions at the end of the year. For me, this is a process that brings me joy, inspiration, and excitement for the year ahead. That said, in this episode I talk about some of the more harmful impacts of the pressure to self-improve and create long lists of the things we need to “fix” about ourselves.

I offer an alternative approach that is more rooted in reconnecting with and honouring yourself and is deeply personal to your authenticity. I also share some of the things I am thinking about going into the New Year.
