Today, another fantastic story comes from the area covered by the Lost Peatlands project, at the head of the Afan Valley, which leads into the Rhondda in South Wales. It is a stunning place filled with wonderful tales.
Thomas Davies (1715-1753) known as Y Fferiaid Coch ( The Red Minister ) was a tempestuous man of the cloth who preached in various villages in the area. Stories of his exploits abound and it is said that his ghost still travels the Valley roads to this day . Have a listen as i tell some of his tales .
