God's hand is in literally everything that we do. Trusting in God to provide can be challenging, but he promises us that if we trust in him and treat him as our king he will pour out his blessing on us. He will also send people into our lives that will bless us. Allowing God to control your life is the best gift you can give yourself!
Jesus tomb was sealed by a large rock. He rose again from the dead, leaving behind an empty tomb. He took our sins upon himself and conquered death as our substitute.
God took the Israelites out of slavery. God's people practiced the Passover to remember the angel of death passing over them and sparing them. We celebrate the Lord's Supper to remind us of Jesus sacrifice on the cross for us.
Daniel had a vision of Jesus' second coming. Our Savior will come to take all believers to heaven. We will live there for all eternity in the glory of God.
We will all be held accountable for our sins. God knows everything we have done. We are spared from punishment through Jesus. He has given us the hope of eternal life in heaven.
As time goes on people get more harsh and brutal. We can be hurt by this. Jesus gives us these signs to prepare us for the end times. We are hardened by earthly things, but we become closer to Christ.
We look to Jesus for answers and hope in the last days. Disasters have been going on for years and God reminds us that someday this world will end and we will be in a better place for all of eternity.
Jesus displayed his almighty power through numerous miracles. He displayed his ability to beat death and Satan. He performs miracles today. God encourages us to pray and to watch how God works for the good of those who love him.
In his old age, the apostle John was given the opportunity to see Jesus in all his glory, magnificence, and power. Jesus has always been and will always be. This powerful God takes away our fear of dying because he conquered death, beat Satan, and unlocked the grave so that we have nothing to fear and only heaven to gain. He promises us that his victory over death is also ours through faith.
Old Testament animal sacrifices were a hands on, visual demonstration of the substitutionary shedding of blood Jesus would make for us. Jesus is our permanent priest, or bridge, taking care of our most pressing need, removing the curse of sin. The Great Exchange - our sins for his holiness. Jesus is the 'cotter pin' linking us together with God.
