God used the priests to send messages to his people.  The people of Israel waiting to be taken out of slavery, then they waited and wandered the desert, then they waiting for a Savior.  We also struggle as we wait for Jesus to come again, but God knows how we feel and cares for us.  Everything happens according to God's almighty plan.  Our only job is to wait and trust in God.

Our good nature helps us do good things. Jesus sacrificed for us so that we can serve God in faithfulness. Thank God for the past and trust in him for the future.

We always have excuses for sin.  God provides us with hope and relief from the guilt.  God sent his son to provide us with forgiveness and eternal life without sin.  God is always there for us.

We are sinful from birth and are saved through faith in Jesus.  The old sinful nature is at battle with our new identity.  It is a struggle to live a life without sin, due to our sinful nature.  We are thankful for the Holy Spirit and our ability to live our life for the Lord.

All of God's people are a family of believers. We are bonded together as children of God. We are not alone and should join together with Christ because he is our cornerstone of faith.

We are unable to come to faith on our own. The Holy Spirit works through us during baptism.  The water and the Word make us children of God.  We are alive in Christ and should live our lives serving God.

Paul gave Timothy encouraging words and told him to remember that the most important tool was God's Word. It contains the truth and was inspired by God himself. Paul encouraged Timothy to stay in the Word and use it to teach others.
