Most of us understand how history actually works. One event follows another. We can’t go back to the past, and we cannot foretell the future.

Christian Nationalist supporters of Donald Trump see it another way. They believe that there is only one story that matters, the story of the Bible. So, they reinterpret the rest of reality to fit within that monotheistic story. When reality fails to comply, they become enraged, and begin to make violent demands that the rest of us comply, or else.

In this episode of Stop Christian Nationalism, we hear Christian Nationalists talking about how current events were somehow foretold 2500 years ago. They proclaim that we are marching toward World War III under Donald Trump’s promise of a Final Battle.
