This week we are giving away passes to a Wellness Weekend that’s taking place in Clogheen this weekend giving people the opportunity to try out various activities.

The event takes place at Ballyboy House and Gardens in Clogheen on July 24th and 25th with a free talk from Dr Mark Rowe, as well as outdoor yoga, forest bathing, Indian head massage and garden tours.

Jane Moran who is running the event joined us in studio with volunteer Deborah Ryan, which is supported by Tipperary County Council, said there is something for everyone and they are hoping for a good turnout.

Deborah also gave Emma the treat of an Indian Head Massage in studio!

The Irish Pharmacy Union has called on the HSE to supply Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines to all pharmacists to allow Covid vaccinations continue without interruption, as supplies of the Janssen stock fall. Jimmy O'Sullivan of O'Sullivan's Pharmacy in Fethard spoke to Fran this morning.

Sergeant Joseph Campbell, a father-of-eight, was shot dead as he closed Cushendall RUC station in County Antrim in 1977.

A report into his killing found that the two criminal investigations into the shooting had been flawed, and hampered by the withholding of sensitive intelligence information, including the threats to the victim's life.

Sergeant Campbell’s son Joseph joined Fran this morning.
