A young Tipperary woman says childhood spent in the Premier county and her love for nature inspired her to write two children’s books in time for Christmas.

On Sunday 21st November 1920, the Tipperary Football Team travelled to Croke Park to play Dublin in a challenge match.

British Paramilitary Forces descended on Croke Park during the game, and opened fire, indiscriminately, killing and wounding men, women and children.

When the shooting frenzy which lasted ninety seconds, ended, one player lay dead on the hallowed turf.
