Recent statistics from the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery show that, in Europe alone, nearly 80,000 procedures related to hair restoration were completed in 2016; a vast increase from the 29,800 completed a decade earlier. The one constant though? 85% of those opting to go through with the arduous process are men.

So what is driving this growth and what is involved in getting a hair transplant?
