Drinkaware is asking people to monitor their alcohol consumption this Christmas, especially those of us who are drinking at home.

Annie Donnelly suffers from the rare condition, Achromatopsia which leaves her unable to see colour, sensitive to light and unable to see things over a short distance from her.

She's only 10 years old but has written and illustrated a book which is now being published.

Cllr Hogan has been a public representative in the Templemore-Thurles Municipal District, and formerly Thurles Town Council for over twenty years.
