Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics!

We hope you had a wonderful weekend! This week, the elves continue their journey through Nicktoon month by welcoming Robert Nickerson of "Behind the Bells" to talk the famous and beloved "Hey Arnold" Christmas special: Season 1, Episode 18's "Arnold's Christmas".

This is the perfect festive treat to kick off your week! So, settle back and enjoy as we barrel closer to the 'Ber months! As always, thanks for your love and support, y'all!

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics!

Today we are kicking off Nicktoon month by traveling back in time to 1992 to cover the very first "Rugrats" Christmas special: Season 2 - Episode 14 - "The Santa Experience"! The "Rugrats" have always clicked with the elves in the past when they covered their Hanukkah and Mother's Day specials, but will they enjoy their foray into the most wonderful time of year just as much? Well, you'll have to tune in to find out!

This is a fun, festive, nostalgic way to kick off your week! So, settle back, relax, and enjoy! As always, thanks for your love and support, y'all!

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! And Happy August! We're in the final four weeks of the year before we hit the 'Ber Months! How exciting is that?!

Due to vacation and work schedules, the elves are taking a much needed week off. Never fear though! Anthony is back once more with a special "Summerween" treat that he recorded a few weeks back in anticipation for this moment! Yet again, he is joined by his good friend, Cookie, to finish off their mini arc of episodes covering Ti West's and Mia Goth's "X" trilogy!

Previously, they revisited "X", they re-watched "Pearl", and now they've finally seen "MaXXXine" and are ready to talk about it! This time, however, the two are not fully in sync. when it comes to their feelings, so expect some friendly fireworks to fly as they dive deep into and discuss the final chapter of Maxine Minx's story! Is it a fitting ending for "the star" who has always refused to "accept a life she does not deserve"? Well, you'll just have to tune in to find out!

This is a really fun one - despite some audio issues on the part of Anthony (sorry!) - and is sure to tide you over and keep you entertained until all three elves return next week with your regularly scheduled Christmas programming! So, settle back and enjoy!

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! Can you believe we've already reached our final episode of July 2024? We sure can't! The 'Ber Months are fast approaching!

This week, Anthony, Julia, and Thom travel to the snowy, dangerous world of Gotham City to cover the 2023 original animated film, "Merry Little Batman"! Skewed for a younger audience than the Caped Crusader is normally aimed at, did our hosts enjoy Damien Wayne desperately attempting to follow in his iconic father's footsteps to save Christmas from the Joker and some of Gotham's other fearsome Rogues? You'll just have to tune in to find out if this holiday special, heavily inspired by "Home Alone" and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!", is enough to grow the hearts of our elves three sizes!

So settle back, relax, and enjoy this extremely festive and fun episode that's sure to brighten your week! And get excited, for we are in the final stretch before the most wonderful time of the year!

As always, thanks for your love and support, y'all! ❤️🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🔔🚂 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! We hope you're all having a wonderful July as we barrel ever closer to our beloved 'Ber Months!

To kick off the week, Julia, Thom, and Anthony journey back to Sesame Street - despite the fact that nobody seemed to be able to tell us how to get there! - to cover the 1996 film, "Sesame Street: Elmo Saves Christmas"! Elmo isn't any of our hosts favorite resident of Sesame Street, but does the fact that he's the focal point of this story derail this special for them? And can they get through an entire episode featuring the Muppets without their good friend Mike Westfall of "Advent Calendar House" demanding retractions and apologies?! You'll just have to tune in to find out!

So, settle back, blast that air conditioning, and enjoy this festive treat which is sure to serve as the perfect kickoff to your week! And keep your eyes open this upcoming Thursday, July 25th, for a very special, bonus Christmas in July episode in your feeds!

As always, thanks for your love and support, y'all! ❤️🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🔔🚂 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️

🎙️✨ Happy Monday, festive friends! Can you believe we're already halfway through July? Time flies when you're having fun with the elves! 🧝‍♂️🧝‍♀️

This week, our merry trio kicks things off with a cinematic journey, sharing their thoughts on the latest movies they've seen and the thrilling trailers that have them buzzing, including the much-anticipated "Red One" 🎬.

But that's just the beginning! Prepare yourself for a whimsical detour as the elves dive deep into the 1986 remake of "Babes in Toyland" starring Drew Barrymore and Keanu Reeves. This nostalgic trip is quite the rollercoaster—trust us, you won't want to miss it! 🎢

Listen as Anthony unleashes a few epic rants, Julia battles with boredom and disdain, and Thom valiantly tries to find redeeming qualities in this quirky film 🎥. It's a delightful mix of laughs, debates, and holiday cheer!

So, grab your favorite spiced cold drink, get comfy, and join us for another magical episode of Tis the Podcast! 🎄❄️

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics!

We hope you had a great weekend - or a great long weekend, in the case of our American listeners!

We are back with another installment of "Tis the Podcast", and this week, we are covering John Woo's 2023, action-holiday film, "Silent Night"! Is this a Christmas movie or merely a film set at Christmas? Does its lack of dialogue enhance the story or seem like a cheap gimmick? Well, the elves have thoughts on all of this, but you'll just have to tune in to find out!

This is a fun, festive episode which is the perfect way to kick off your week! And get excited: now that we're past the Fourth of July, stores will be in full 'Ber-Months mode soon enough!

So settle back and enjoy! As always, thanks for your love and support, y'all! ❤️🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🔔🚂 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! And Happy First Day of July! We're barreling ever-closer to those 'Ber Months with more than a few big milestones along the way to be hit this month! How exciting is that?

Less exciting is the film the elves are covering this week: the 2023 Netflix Original Movie, "Family Switch"! While they thought they escaped the worst-of-the-worst content after clawing their way out of June's "Bad Sequels" month, this movie certainly didn't make them feel that way; it even elicited a rant from Anthony the likes of which you haven't heard since our "Ernest Saves Christmas" episode! But is the movie really that bad? Is there any semblance of heart or holiday cheer to make this one worth watching? Well, you'll just have to tune in to find out! One thing's for certain though: regardless of the film's quality, this is yet another fun, festive episode of "Tis the Podcast" you want to be sure not to miss!

And speaking of not wanting to miss anything: check out the bonus "Summerween" episode that dropped in your podcast feeds yesterday, in which Anthony and his friend Cookie talk the Ti West/A24 film "X"! It's a good time, and essential listening before seeing "MaXXXine" later this week!

So settle back and enjoy, y'all! As always, thanks for your love and support! We love and appreciate each and every one of you! ❤️🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🔔🚂 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️
