Happy Thursday, Christmas fanatics! Welcome to the twenty-ninth official installment of "Another Christmas Story"!
In this week's official episode, Robert Nickerson of "Behind the Bells" will read to all of you Chapter Twenty-Eight of our tale, entitled "The First Noel". Within this chapter, we switch points-of-view between Aaron Rankin and his classmates rehearsing for their big show at Radio City Music Hall, and Megan, Jake, and Amy, who are hopeful that the stranger named Gabe can get them through Elsa's storm and to the Music Hall in time for Aaron's performance. We hope you like it! If you do, make sure to share this episode and our website, upon which the text of this installment is posted, to get it in front of as many ears and eyes as possible!

And on Tuesday, August 17th, the elves will be joined by not one, not two, but three special guests to discuss the (2) Christmas episodes of "Batman: The Animated Series", the (1) Christmas episode of "The New Adventures of Batman", and the (1) Christmas episode of "Justice League"! Joining them to geek out over the Caped Crusader are Gerry Davila of "Totally Rad Christmas", Mike Westfall of "Advent Calendar House Podcast", and Matt Spaulding of GreenMountainSanta.com and cohost of two podcasts, "Two Broke Geeks" and "The F.B.I.'s Most Wanted"! If you want to follow along and watch at home, the episodes they will be talking about are:

Happy August! We're one month closer to our favorite time of year and the elves couldn't be more excited. To kick off August, Anthony, Julia, and Thom are joined by Gerry D from Totally Rad Christmas for another double feature episode covering the Christmas episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm and I'm Sorry. As you can imagine from the shows, this episode may not be the most appropriate for tiny ears, so keep yourself on the nice list and listen away from kids.
Happy August, Christmas Fanatics! We're one month closer to our favorite time of year and the elves couldn't be more excited!
To kick off the last stretch of summer before the Ber Months (!!!), Anthony, Julia, and Thom are joined by Gerry D of "Totally Rad Christmas" for another double feature of an episode in which we cover the Christmas episodes of HBO's critically acclaimed comedy series "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (Season 3, Episode 9, "Mary, Joseph, and Larry") and TruTV's hit-comedy "I'm Sorry" (Season 2, Episode 4, "Couple's Massage"). As you can imagine given the content of the shows discussed, this episode is definitely not be the most appropriate one for tiny ears - no matter how much we attempt to tiptoe around certain subject matter - so do your best to keep yourself on the nice list and listen away from any children who might be around! Enjoy, y'all!.
Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! We are officially under 5 months from Christmas day itself! It's all downhill from here!
This week, Julia, Thom, and Anthony gather to discuss the 2002, made-for-TV film, "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie"! How does it compare to other Muppet fare, which all three elves have been quite vocally fond of? Well, let's just say that opinions are all over the spectrum in this episode.
So settle in and enjoy this fun episode! And if you want more "Tis the Podcast" content, check your podcast feeds this upcoming Thursday for Chapter Twenty-Six of "Another Christmas Story", which will be read to y'all by Adam Parker Sibun of "Merry Britmas"! 🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🔔 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️
Merry Christmas in July, everybody! (And on behalf of the entire "Christmas Podcast Network", Merry Gerry in July!) Can you believe we're officially five months away from Christmas? This year is flying!
As it tends to happen to the best of us around the holidays themselves, "Tis the Podcast's" Christmas in July plans were derailed this year! Originally, Anthony was writing an original radio drama with listener Rebecca Boll for the elves, their fellow Christmas podcast hosts, and other friends of the show to perform - but it didn't get finished in time. (Stay tuned for the actual Christmas season later this year!) And then, the elves wanted to put together a live-read of everyone's favorite Christmas film, "Elf", but due to miscommunication and scheduling conflicts, that plan fell through at the last minute. But, wanting to deliver something to all of y'all to mark the summer holiday today, Julia, Thom, and Anthony are joined by Gerry Davila of "Totally Rad Christmas", Todd Killian of "Christmas Clatter", Ron Hogan of "Film Strip Podcast", and Claude Bélanger of "Christmas Conversations" to honor Christmas in July!
The result is the most chaotic conversation that has ever occurred in "Tis the Podcast's" four year run! Just some of the topics that come up in today's off-the-walls, hilarious episode (which is naturally filled with lots of trolling) include:
And all of that barely scratches the service, because there is much, much more discussed - and many quotes from "The Office" dropped - in this hilarious, beautiful mess of an episode that is nothing but banter!
So settle in and relax by the pool with your favorite summer beverage, close your eyes, imagine the cold, winter days ahead that will be here before you know it as we fast approach the most wonderful time of the year, and enjoy this episode! And get excited, because there's plenty of fun stuff coming up on the show as well!
This upcoming Monday, July 26th, we will be dropping our episode on the 2002 made for TV movie, “It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie”! And on Tuesday, July 27th, the elves will be joined by some very special, frequent and beloved guests (schedules permitting) to record another Double Feature of an episode, which will be dropping in your main feeds on Monday, August 2nd! We’ll be discussing the one Christmas episode of HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” (Anthony's favorite TV show of all time!) – Season 3, Episode 9: “Mary, Joseph and Larry” and the one Christmas episode of the TruTV comedy, “I’m Sorry” (One of Anthony's wife's, Sarah's, favorite shows of all time!) - Season 2, Episode 4: “Couple’s Massage”! Before that drops in your feeds though, on Thursday, July 29th, you’ll get to hear Chapter 26 of “Another Christmas Story” entitled “Hark the Herald Angel Sing”, which Adam Parker Sibun of “Merry Britmas” will be reading to y’all!
Enjoy, y'all! 🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🔔 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️
Happy Thursday, Christmas fanatics! Welcome to the twenty-sixth official installment of "Another Christmas Story"!
This week, Lauren Simone will read to all of you Chapter Twenty-Five of our tale, entitled "My Grown Up Christmas List". Within this chapter, we catch up with Megan, Jake, and Amy Rankin as they continue their attempts to get to Manhattan in time for Aaron's performance at Radio City Music Hall! We hope you like it! If you do, make sure to share this episode and our website, upon which the text of this installment is posted, to get it in front of as many ears and eyes as possible!

Before that drops in your feeds though, on Thursday, July 29th, you’ll get to hear Chapter 26 of “Another Christmas Story” entitled “Hark the Herald Angel Sing”, which Adam Parker Sibun of “Merry Britmas” will be reading to y’all, and this upcoming Sunday – July 25th, which is Christmas in July already if you can believe it - you’ll find another bonus episode in your feeds to honor the occasion! So make sure to keep your eyes on your podcast feeds for that as well.
Enjoy, y'all!
Happy Monday, Christmas fanatics! This week, Julia, Thom, and Anthony cover the questionable holiday special from the year 2000, "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" - based on the Christmas song of the same name! Though there's some debate and trolling regarding who actually put this cartoon on the list, the elves are all in agreement over its quality, and it begs the question: has "Tis the Podcast" hit a new low? Also discussed in this episode - restaurants that the hosts only tend to visit during the holiday season!
So settle in and enjoy this episode which is much more fun than the content discussed! In addition, keep your eyes on your podcast feeds this upcoming Thursday for the next installment of "Another Christmas Story", as read by Lauren Simone this week, in addition to Saturday for a special, Christmas in July episode!
Happy Thursday, Christmas fanatics! Welcome to the twenty-fifth official installment of "Another Christmas Story"!
