This episode we bring in our guest host to go over the results of the 2022 Academy Awards.  Our predictions were pretty close, but she ended up getting the most correct.  We had originally planned on discussing our favorite nominated performance, but we spent the majority of the time discussing the awards ceremony.  As I'm sure you know, there was a lot to discuss.

This episode we take a look at the fourth entry into the franchise we are currently on.  Regarded as the weakest of the franchise, this movie tries to squeeze as much out of the series even though it had appeared to be concluded in the previous film.  The next two movies are crossovers, so when we get back to this franchise, we will be doing those together.

We are back with the most current year in review we could do.  We held off on doing this episode until all the big movies of the year were available to see.  Our Oscar prediction episode was previously posted, and there were a couple nominated movies on our year in review lists.  Not surprisingly, these episodes tend to go long, which leads to a kind of rough ending.

Today is the day of the 2022 Academy Awards.  As we do every year, we like to make our predictions and then follow along and see who does the best.  Last year was a blowout, so hopefully this time it will be a bit more competitive.  In our opinion, there wasn't really a standout film, even though there were a few movies that pulled a bunch of nominations.

This episode we take a look at a new animated film.  The timing is perfect with the Oscars coming up, as this movie was nominated for three awards.  It has great animation, catchy songs, and a good story about family dynamics.  We also brought in a guest host for her first appearance.  Hopefully, we will have her on again in the future.

We are just around the corner from the 2022 Academy Awards and we decided to look at the films that were nominated for best picture.  There were  10 options, and while we didn't watch all ten, the three of us each had a different pick.  There didn't seem to be a sure fire winner this year, but there are a bunch of very good films to choose from.

This episode the two of us watch the next movie in line of one of our favorite directors.  This is arguably his raunchiest film, which if you look at his career, is saying something.  That being said, this is probably one of the sloppiest episodes we have done, but it was an interesting conversation to say the least.

This episode we venture forward with the next entry in one of our many franchises, and this flick takes a substantial dip in quality.  Directed by one of the most respected directors working today, the studio interference seemed to have gotten in the way of the movie he originally wanted to make.  All that said, the movie is not bad by any stretch, and there will be some severe duds before the franchise bounces back.

We are back with our 30th year in review podcast.  Though it didn't have as many iconic moments or quotes as the previous year, it has arguably some of the best movies of the 90's.  That being said, the differences in all our lists was greater than the three of us were expecting.  The next episode in this series will be going over 2021, before we continue our trek backwards.
