We are still chugging along with our two new horror franchises.  Typically movies like these get worse as you push through the series, but these two were not the worst in there respective series.  That being said, neither film is particularly good.  We are gonna try and get on a more regular schedule with the horror episodes so we can finish these franchises as soon as possible.

This episode we continue our journey through a series of TV movies that somehow became a cult phenomenon.  Each installment has upped the ridiculous factor, and we are on the fifth movie, so you can expect that this film went absolutely bonkers.  Only one more left to finish off this crazy franchise.

This episode we take a look at the second installment of the new franchise we started with our guest.  This is one of the few sequels that an argument can be made that it is better than the original, though one of us disagreed with that statement.  This film moves a bit away from the horror aspect and ramps up the action.

This episode we continue our trek backwards in our year in review series.  1992 was another very strong year with a bunch of classic films.  While going through our lists, which did have a lot of variation, we began to realize that this year has a great deal of iconic scenes or lines.  As these episodes tend to go pretty long, the ending does get a little sloppy.

This episode is another category discussion and it involves movies that are based on television shows.  There were a lot more to choose from than we originally thought.  We have chosen three different movies based on shows from three different eras.  The movies that were picked are each vastly different from the others.

It has been quite a while since we had a horror episode, so it was good to get back on that topic.  We are off franchise this entry and looked at two very different movies.  The first is a Netflix original Polish film that is a sequel to a movie we did awhile back.  The other is the fourth entry in an anthology franchise.  One of these films was very highly regarded by all of us, while the other didn't live up to what came before it.

Now that we have finished off the Star Wars franchise, we decided to dive into another series with our guest.  The series we chose includes one of the most iconic and horrific movie monsters ever put to film.  The franchise has some ups and downs, but overall, it is very well regarded by everyone who has seen it.  That being said, you would be challenged to find someone who didn't like the first entry.

Recently, we had done an episode choosing our favorite Netflix original film, so it seemed fitting to have an episode discussing our favorite Amazon original film.  The bench for Amazon is not as deep as Netflix, but there are some very solid movies offered.  We discuss three very different flicks: a thriller, a drama, and a horror.

Due to several scheduling conflicts during the holiday season, it has been awhile since we have posted a new episode, but we are back with another year in review.  The three of us got together to discuss the year, and there wasn't quite as much crossover as we expected.  This year had a little bit of everything, from sports movies to downers to comedies.  Going forward, we should be back to posting episodes regularly.

We have finally reached the conclusion of our Skywalker saga journey.  Eleven total films, 9 directly connected to the Skywalker family.  As an overall film franchise, it is pretty strong.  Some of the greatest movies are in this franchise, but there are also some films that severely don't live up to the hype.
