RESTART CBDJeff Starling is a managing partner at The Source, and in today’s episode, Jeff walks us through how they keep a vibrant image for their brand and maintain a good image for medicinal marijuana.
[00:01 – 13:41] Opening Segment
[13:42 – 25:02] Medicinal Marijuana
[25:03 – 40:35] Thinking Creatively to Make Your Dispensary Stand Out
[40:35 – 52:37] Innovations in the Industry
Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Jeff Starling spent much of his youth living the ex-pat life, with stops in numerous cities throughout the United States, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Panama. In 2003, Starling relocated to Northwest Arkansas to study Marketing and Finance at the University of Arkansas and found his home in the hills of the Ozarks. He loves the natural beauty Arkansas offers and has enjoyed watching the northwest corner of the state grow. He hopes to make a lasting impact in the community by creating opportunities and change for the residents of Northwest Arkansas, envisioning a place of inclusion and equality. Starling has long believed in both the medicinal benefits of marijuana and the need for legalization. Having watched medical marijuana programs flourish in other states, the opportunity to be at the forefront of Arkansas’ cannabis industry was too promising not to pursue. Through The Source, and in his personal life, Starling wants to shift the paradigm of the cannabis industry - advocating that marijuana is indeed medicinal and that we are barely scraping the surface of the benefits the plant can provide. He aims to use the dispensary as a platform to espouse the benefits of medical marijuana and hopes to play a part in legalization efforts throughout the nation.
