Welcome back to episode 50 and our return to Puerto Rico. We go from the all out craziness of last week’s pro-wrestling entertainment to the cultural center of Old San Juan, the Teatro Tapia. The theater is the longest operating theater in the U.S. and is a stunning example of historic Italian style architecture. The theater houses plays, ballets, cultural events and oh ya, don’t forget the ghosts. For some of these spectral performers the curtain never closes so hold your applause as we get escalofriante in this trip to the theater.

Welcome back to episode 44 and a super dark topic for this week. We examine filicide for the first time (it probably won't be the last time unfortunately) and boy is it rough. We start out with a garbage human that goes by the name of Diane Downs and the torment her family goes through. Then we head south of the border for a dive into Latin American folklore with the story of the wailing woman, aka La Llorona. This one has a whole bunch of messed up stuff but also some really bad singing, a lesson for Noodles on slut shaming, and so much more.

We start out with our spooky ookies this week in the weirdest jail design, probably ever, the Pottawattamie County jail, aka the Squirrel Cage Jail. This 3 story rotating monstrosity caused a lot of pain and suffering in it's day and the ghosties aren't going to let you forget it. Then we move on to the absolutely bizarre and wackadoodle case of Cari Farver, Dave Kroupa, and Liz Goylar. If you want to know more about that you will just have to listen. We take a ride up the tractor beam for our true crime story and we take a look into the incredible rise of the Heaven’s Gate cult which ultimately ended in the largest mass suicide to ever happen on US soil.
