  • Episode 32: Clowns - The Crooked Man and John Wayne Gacy Part 2

It’s episode 32 and we are still going straight for the juggler in this totally in-tents, part 2 episode. Join us for part 2 of our super spoopy episode all about Clowns! Ian “Noodles” Green is of course back to help us finish up this cooky topic. We finish up our very first serial killer heavy hitter John Wayne Gacy Jr, also known as the Killer Clown. We go over the tragic murder that eventually leads to his downfall, his arrest, the body search of nightmares and his trial. If that wasn’t enough clowny goodness for you we also have Oscar Mendoza who was “born cursed.” The trials he has to go through as someone who can see ghosts are absolutely bananas. Grab some popcorn and hold on tight for this roller coaster ride of emotions and creep.

  • Episode 31: The Poltergeist Curse

It’s episode 31 and our very first super spoopy Halloweeny episode! Lolo is back and madder than ever because Lizza picked this topic just for her. We know what scares her and that is Poltergeist! This movie franchise seems to have had had it’s very own, real life poltergeist or maybe it’s just the curse that everyone says it is. There is no shortage of super strange, super spooky stuff that happened around all three movies. Even more tragic is the abundance of deaths that plagued the franchise. This one definitely needs all of the lights on, an exit buddy, and probably a drink or two because THEY’RE HERE!

It’s episode 30 and we go straight for the juggler in this totally in-tents episode. Join us for part 1 of our super spoopy episode all about Clowns! Ian “Noodles” Green is back and the inspiration for our topic. We bust out our very first serial killer heavy hitter John Wayne Gacy Jr, also known as the Killer Clown. We start off with the first part of his life and the very beginning of his murder spree. During this time he also adopts his two alter egos Pogo and Patches the clown. If that wasn’t enough clowny goodness for you we also head out to a desolate stretch of road in the middle of the Nevada deserts to spend the night next to an abandoned cemetery in the world famous Clown Motel. If you get lonely during the night there are over 2,000 clowns and who knows how many ghosts to keep you company. Grab some popcorn and hold on tight for this carnival ride of creep.

  • Episode 29: Chicago, IL - H.H. Holmes and Resurrection Mary

It’s episode 29 and we are one week closer to the ultimate spoopy day. Ian “Noodles” Green is back to keep us creepy crawly and spooky ooky. We are heading over to Chicago, IL this week for our location topic and boy are these stories spoopy! We start out with one of the first documented American serial killers: H.H. Holmes. Between bigamy, insurance fraud, massive swindling, the Chicago World’s Fair and of course a Murder Castle full of torture rooms and decomposing bodies, his story is completely wackadoodle. Then we move onto one of Chicago’s most famous ghosts, Resurrection Mary. She seems to be spending her afterlife hitch hiking down Archer Road and luring handsome young men into dancing the night away with her. And then of course she pulls a slow yeet (or maybe a bit quicker than that) when she reaches the gates of Resurrection Cemetery. Grab some pumpkin spice and settle on in for this week’s trip to Creeptastic Chicago!

From there we look into what happens when a belief goes too far with the attempted murder of Payton “Bella” Leutner by Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier. This is a crazy ride full of twists, turns, betrayal, parrots and wacky waving inflatable flailing arm tube men so buckle up!

  • Episode 27: Boxes - Colleen Stan and the Dybbuk Box

It’s episode 27 and it is officially the beginning of Spoopy season and we are “unpacking” this week’s topic; Boxes. To make up for being dark last week we bring you an extra long episode that is a little salty and a whole lot rage-y. If you have ever thought about hitchhiking this week’s true crime story will hopefully change your mind. Yes, things were different in the 70s but take this life lesson from Lizza: hitchhiking leads to you dead and buried at a truck stop somewhere. Colleen Stan managed to avoid the death part but as the “Girl in the Box” her story is just as horrifying. Then to keep the horror train rolling we look at one of the creepiest haunted objects out there: the Dybbuk Box. Apparently “don’t ever open the box” can be interpreted in different ways by different people. What doesn’t seem to be interpreted differently is the horrible things that happen to them when they do. This week might require a drink, a blanket fort, a snuggle partner and sleeping with the lights on, so don’t say we didn’t warn you.

  • Episode 26: Villisca Axe Murders

It’s episode 26 and it’s our two-fer episode, and if that wasn’t cool enough, Ian “Noodles” Green is back to help cohost due to a bit of a scheduling snafu in Lolo’s land. For this week’s topic we go back in time to 1912 Villisca, Iowa where a gruesome murder scene terrified the small community. An entire family plus their two young guests were all brutally murdered in their sleep, by an axe wielding psycho who was never found or brought to justice. With all of that it’s no wonder that the house is now the home to multiple spirits, of both the good and evil persuasion. This is one strange case so settle in and listen up as we dive in to the Villisca Axe Murders.

  • Episode 25 - Mirrors - Ruthie Mae McCoy and Myrtles Plantation OR the Accidental Umm Episode

We are back after a much needed mental health break and feeling refreshed and at least a little bit less explodey in the head! This week we tackle the creepy topic of Mirrors! Also, "Umm" accidentally became the word of the week so they are all in there, unedited, and if you are feeling particularly brave (or stupid) use it as a drinking game. Just know that we take absolutely NO responsibility for the level of drunk that you might happen to get. Our two stories are completely different yet have very similar themes, one of the main ones being BLACK LIVES STILL MATTER and we have been fucking it up as a country for YEARS. We head to 1980s Chicago and a dive into the terror of living in the projects with the tragic story of Ruthie Mae McCoy, or Miss Mae as she liked to be called. Then we make a total 180 turn and head to the Antebellum South splendor of the Myrtles Plantation which touts itself as the most haunted house in America. There do seem to be an awful lot of ghosty ghosts hanging around AND having their pictures taken. So get cozy, grab your favorite snack,  and maybe turn any mirrors around as we jump into this weeks episode.
