It's episode 22 and the furry friends of the podcast make several unplanned appearances, watch out for puppy interruptions and kitty attacks! When we actually manage to work around the fur balls we talk about this week's topic: the Clergy. First we go over the tragic case of the murder of Sister Margaret Ann. This case is twisty turny and even has some Satanic Panic sprinkled in for stupidity. Then we head over across the pond again to Pontefract, England and one of the craziest true life poltergeist infestations ever, the Black Monk of Pontefract. Listen as we go through the list of bizarre, annoying, and terrifying trials of the Pritchard family in the 1960s and decide for yourself what exactly was going on in that house. Say a prayer, light a candle, and get ready to confess your deepest fears as we delve into the world of the Clergy.

It’s episode 21 and we are officially legal to drink! Or at least the podcast is :) We take a look at some of the most infamous bootleggers around in 1920s Chicago where violence and lawlessness ran the town. Stolen whiskey, crime bosses, gang wars, and a bloody climax are just a tiny taste of what this week’s episode has to offer. There are big names like Al “Scarface” Capone, George “Bugs” Moran, and even some Bagelbites (aka Zak Bagans, shout out to ATWWD.) Ian steps in to join us again as Lolo got trapped in emergency land, don’t worry, she is ok and will be back next week. So grab your fedora, a nice glass of whiskey, maybe a cigar, and settle down for the crazy story of the Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre.

It’s episode 20 and we take a (metaphorical) wee jaunt over to Scotland’s bonnie capitol, Edinburgh. In our first story with Burke and Hare we have body snatching, murder, betrayal and so much more! Then we head back even farther in time to Mary Kings Close where we are visited by the black plague, disembodied body parts, a little girl ghost and a creepy room full of dolls. Don’t worry, we of course blether on about random shite and we accidentally created the mystery word of the episode: MOIST. If you would like to suggest a word for an upcoming episode (especially next week where we turn 21 and will drink every time we say it) please email it to [email protected] We also created a new Instagram account to show off our glorious fluff fam that keeps us even remotely sane. PS Sorry for the mic mishap. We will have it fixed by next week!

It’s episode 19 and we apparently didn’t get enough kitties last week so they are back this week! Or, maybe the Dear David story was so long it had to be split into two episodes so we had to do kitties one more time. It’s up to you to decide. In our seriously pun-y true crime segment we cover real life kitty criminals. We’ve got feline freedom fighters, klepto kitties, actual cat burglars and so much more. Then we give ourselves the heebie jeebies with part two of the saga of Dear David. Adam Ellis’ 2 cats are high class ghost hunters and there is some seriously crazy stuff going on in that apartment, possibly even a full on demon doll possession??? Follow along with the pics below to traverse the journey with us. Grab the catnip and prepare for some serious crazy cat lady fan girling in our kitty inspired PURR-fect episode. Me-ow!

It’s episode 18 and Lolo is finally back with us! To celebrate our topic is one of Lolo’s favorite things, Kitties! Our true crime case set an incredible precedent in the world of forensics and helped bring justice to the murderer of Shirley Duguay. Then we give ourselves the heebie jeebies with part one of the saga of Dear David. Adam Ellis’ 2 cats are high class ghost hunters and there is some seriously crazy stuff going on in that apartment. Follow along with the pics and videos in order on the To Die For Website to traverse the journey with us. Grab the catnip and prepare for some serious crazy cat lady fan girling in our kitty inspired PURR-fect episode. Me-ow!

It’s episode 17 and Ian is back while Lolo slowly recovers from moving houses! On day 12,542,985 of quarantine and with a holiday weekend right around the corner we celebrate the summer we wish we were having by “diving” into today’s topic: swimming pools! We head on over to Longbeach, CA for the swimmingly haunted RMS Queen Mary. She is said to have hundreds of ghosts, including multiple ones that hang out in her 2 pools and we take a look at just a few of them. Then we dive head first into Stupid Pool Crimes! Who knew there were quite so many interesting ways to commit a crime involving a pool??? And just in case you were worried, we FOR SURE have a Florida man story to wet your whistle.

Welcome back to episode 16! The sound is a little rough, but I promise it’s worth it! It might even be one of Lizza’s fave episodes so far. Lolo is stuck in house moving hell and had to take a vaca from the podcast this week so Lizza’s little bro (from another mother and father LOL) steps in to cohost.
This week we head out for our location topic of Denver, CO. We check out all of the ghosty ghosts that have decided to permanently check in to the Brown Palace Hotel for their stay in the afterlife and boy are there a lot of them! We then check out the creep-tastic tale of the Denver Spiderman and that’s all I’m going to say about that because the shama-llama-ding-dong twist is what makes this tale so bonkers. So get ready for some silly, scary and all things in between, as well as the creation of the slow yeeeeeeeeet.

Well, between the state of the world (in particular the US), it being Mama Ducky’s birthday (Lizza = Just Ducky) and the depression monster taking over, this episode is super late. But it’s actually being released so I’m counting it as a win! Sometimes it’s the little victories when the depression monster comes out to play.
This week is a bit of a long one because there are so many things going on that need to be discussed and addressed before we can even dive into the spooky scary stories for the week. Just a reminder that Black Lives STILL Matter even if the major news coverage is cutting back. Also, it is Pride month and we stand with all of our LGBTQ+ friends because Love is Love and everyone deserves to be the person they feel like on the inside, unless you are a serial killer, then not so much.
For our spooky and scary we visit 1980’s Georgia and the stupidly senseless murders of Dr. Charles Scudder and his partner Joseph Odem with a tiny sprinkling of the Satanic Panic that swept the country in that decade. Then we head over to Pennsylvania for one of the heavy hitters in the paranormal world, Eastern State Penitentiary. Find out it’s grisly history and it’s plethora of current ghostly inhabitants, as well as good dose of Ghost Adventures/Zak Bagans taunting and confrontation. BRO! You are not going to want to miss out on this one.

It is episode 13 and we are getting spooky ooky ooky all up in the bitch, because THIRTEEN! We had to make sure we did something extra special for our 13th episode so we tackle our first case of exorcism with the tragic life and death of Anneliese Michel. This episode is chock full of the unexplainable, real exorcism recordings, the return of the squirrels and a ridiculous amount of conversation about poop. This one manages too spook even Lizza so definitely grab your favorite comfort object and hold on tight! Oh, and maybe don’t listen to this one while getting ready for bed, eeeek!
P.S. HUGE shout out to Dan Cummins - Time Suck Podcast. I got so much amazing information from his episodes on the same topic, plus I love his podcasts! If you would like to go on an even deeper dive into Anneliese’s life please head on over to listen to Bonus Episode 20 and Episode 84 (link below) and give him some extra love. Hail Lucifina, Nimrod, Michael Motherfuckin McDonald, and GOOD BOI Bojangles!
