Today we recorded The Monthly DM #3 with co host Matt Clarke who is the host of the Podcast Clarkes Corner.

The boys chatted all things jiu jitsu at a local and International level, big shout out to Sandro Prillo for dominating the grapple mania comp taking home souls & $1k in $5 notes (standard cash of a JJ guy) . Today Matt and I chewed the fat on a relatable life documentary (to Dallas) on CrossFit games athlete Danielle Brandon, who grew up with addiction ruining her parents lives and living a life no child should have too.

We also went through the up & coming subversion card and the epic matches to take place, also giving wraps to some go our Ronin boys putting in that work.... Lets Go Sandro.

Today we had Luke Cole in the studio, Luke is a Ronin Jiu Jitsu brown belt, big wave surfer, devoted husband, father & all round legend of a man.

In 2022 Luke had a very testing year in his work life that had him burnt out and frazzled, he had come across a podcast where he discovered Ben Southall from best life adventure and as it worked out  the stars aligned, and within the drop of a hat he was booked to trek through the arctic circle of Norway to really test his mental fortitude and learn some valuable life lessons that he shares today.

Some very powerful experience were shared and really hit home at how much we don't value or back how strong we really are as humans, and if this doest kick you hard where it hurts, I`m really not sure what else can be said.

Today we checked in with Miles Muecke, BJJ black belt and head MMA coach at CMBT training centre (Gold Coast), Chief vibes officer at CMBT nutrition & co host of the Strive podcast & CMBT Stay Brave podcast.

Today we sat down with Elliott Stewart, an Australian Comedian & co founder of the Newcastle Comedy Club (Newcastle's first dedicated comedy spot).

At just 23 years of age, Elliott is is about to release his first 1 hour comedy special, has toured the county, has co founded the Newcastle Comedy Club and has just dropped his own podcast called The Branching Out Pod.

We discussed Elliott's first open mike at just 17 on a taco Tuesday night at a local Newcastle bar, to seeing him at the Melbourne Comedy festival / head lining different venues around the country and doing Jiu Jitsu.

To bring in the new year we sat down and had a chat with Bobby Sandhu, an Australian BJJ athlete & Comedian.

After a morning filled with some rolling we migrated from the mats to the studio to catch up with Bobby on the last couple of years on his journey back & forth from Austin Texas & Australia.

Bobby has been on a quest for betterment in his jiu jitsu journey basing himself at the well known B team owned and operated by the likes of Craige Jones, Nicki Rod, Nicky Ryan ect, he has also been on the stages of the kill Tonyshow and open mics at the godfather himself Joe Rogans club The Mothership.

Today we had the check in podcast  with Jarrod Mullen who today (2nd December) celebrates his 5th birthday being clean & sober.

We discuss how life in sobriety creates so many magical opportunities and being ready to attack them with a clear mind and view on the world. 

We chewed the fat on 'the year that was', including a massive milestone with  J marrying the love of his life Tamara on one of the most beautiful days for the most beautiful humans.
