In this episode they gang discusses parents spanking their children. They share a few of their own experiences, and talk about the shift in perception of "corporal punishment". Also, if they feel their parents were right or not, and more. This episode is big on story times. We also talk about how Brandon had an issue of people in his school calling him a particular racial slur on a day-to-day basis. This word became a nickname in a lot of people's eyes, despite Brandon telling people how/why it was not OK. He goes into how it affected his life and his mental state. Its something Brandon still holds a grudge against some of his friends because it haunted him from middle school, throughout a high school, and even a little bit after. These kids were old enough to know better than to refer to someone as a slur as if was a nickname, but they did it anyways because they found it funny. Ignorance. Little did they know they might as well have been calling him the N-word. Worst of all, this "nickname" was spread by people Brandon called friends. After this they speak more on the black experience, shows, etc. Towards the end they debate a couple of anime topics, including: why Brandon thinks is avatar: the last airbender was an anime it would be one of the best ever, and whether or not Dragon Ball Z is underrated in any aspects regarding its story, etc. This is just the tip of the iceberg! Enjoy.
