Today I watched Survivor: Caramoan Episode 3.  I give it 4/5 goggles. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of screen time for the favorites, but I did enjoy the bits we did get to see. I thought this week’s immunity challenge was pretty cool, though it felt like there should have been some kind of puzzle at the end since so far everything has been a physical challenge with a test of accurate throwing skills. Anyway, I’m still looking forward to next week’s episode.

Today I watched Survivor: Samoa, the 19th season of Survivor. I give it Foa out of Five. This review contains a few spoilers. This season makes it on my “must watch” list.

Today I watched the Amazing Race 22 Episode 2. I give it 4/5 coconuts. I enjoyed all of the challenges but none of the teams really have me hooked in yet. (That was a way too subtle joke about “closing in the gap,” it’s just “closing the gap,” come on.)

Today I watched Cellular directed by David R. Ellis and starring  Kim Basinger, Chris Evans, and Jason Statham. I give it 5/5 early 2000′s cell phones. I was greatly entertained and say this is a must watch. This is the same director that brought Snakes on a Plane and Shark Night 3D to the big screen after all.

Today I watched Sinister directed by Scott Derrickson and starring  Ethan Hawke, Juliet Rylance and James Ransone. I give this movie either 3/5 or 2/5 depending on what part of this episode you’re on.

Today I watched For a Good Time Call… starring  Ari Graynor, Lauren Miller and Justin Long. I give it 4/5 pink telephones. If you don’t mind raunchy humor, give this movie a shot, it’s a good time!

Today I watched Celeste and Jesse Forever directed by Lee Toland Krieger and starring Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg. I give it 3/5 little things of lip balm. If romantic comedies are your thing then you might enjoy this movie. Romantic comedies are not my thing.

Today I watched Survivor Caramon Episode 2. I give this episode 4/5 bamboo sticks holding life preservers underwater in a cage. I didn’t enjoy this episode quite as much as the season premiere mostly due to the overall lameness of the fans tribe and the worrying two faces of a particular “favorite.” Hopefully that person is the next to go.

Today I watched Identity Thief directed by Seth Gordon and starring  Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy. I give it 4/5 totaled cars. This movie is a lot of fun and is definitely worth seeing!

Today I watched Harold directed by T. Sean Shannon and starring Spencer Breslin, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Nikki Blonsky. I give this movie 3/5 lug nuts. Parts were good, parts were just okay, none of it was really all that bad. A fun movie to have on in the background while you pay your bills or something.
