Today we revisit the Walking Dead Universe in its latest extension, a six installment anthology series called Tales of the Walking Dead. Last night's episode “Amy/Dr. Everett” marks the fourth chapter of this series, it guest stars Anthony Edwards and Poppy Liu playing a pair of survivors set ten years into the zombie apocalypse. 

Lost Ollie is a four episode miniseries on Netflix that mixes live-action, puppetry, and computer animation to tell the story of a patchwork bunny trying to find its way home. Developed by a medley of award winning animators and storytellers, the show has received mostly positive praise from critics and audiences alike. This Hulu hybrid documentary series about Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney buying a struggling football team in Wales during the height of COVID kicked off August 24th with two episodes. The show has already been renewed for two more seasons, which makes sense since attempting to rebuild an entire football team so that it may ascend to a higher tier of the English Football pyramid is easier said than done. Little Demon is an animated comedy on FXX that premiered Thursday night with two, 20 minute episodes. The show follows the antichrist, a thirteen year old named Christina/Chrissy, as she struggles with adolescence, fights with her parents, and tries to get a handle on her newfound abilities. Roswell, New Mexico is a science fiction drama series on The CW that first premiered in 2019. Though it’s based on the Roswell High book series by Melinda Metz, and draws elements from the 1999 TV adaptation starring Shiri Appleby, it is not a pure remake of either. The newer series jumps ten years into the main characters' futures while reimagining much of their backstory, relationships and abilities. A League of their Own is a sports period comedy drama that just dropped its eight-episode first season on Amazon Prime. The show was created by Will Graham and Abbi Jacobson of Broad City fame. The story is based on Penny Marshall’s classic 1992 film of the same name which hosted a memorable cast including Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, and Madonna.
