Pistol is an FX/Hulu bio-drama based on Steve Jones’ 2017 memoire Lonely Boy: Tales of a Sex Pistol. The miniseries was created by screenwriter Craig Pearce best known for co-writing the 2001 musical Moulin Rouge, as well as The Great Gatsby in 2013, and the upcoming Elvis biographical musical scheduled to be released later this month. Danny Boyle directed all six episodes, including the one we’re discussing today titled Track 1: The Cloak of Invisibility. The first Star Wars film was released May 25, 1977. The first of the prequels was released twenty-two years later on May 19, 1999. Twenty-three years later, the series Obi-Wan Kenobi dropped its first two episodes on May 27, 2022. I wouldn't be surprised if  Disney has already marked the summer of 2045 for something Star Wars related. On Today's Episode, we jump into Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan series and talk about our initial impressions on the plot, characters, and visuals. Henry is a librarian who has been involuntarily time traveling since he was a child. Claire is burdened with her husband's condition, but also considers her life with him a bit of a fairy tale. The Essex Serpent is a six episode mini-series that premiered with two episodes on Friday, May 13th via Apple TV Plus. The show is based on the 2016 best selling novel of the same name by author Sarah Perry. The story follows Cora Seaborne, played by Claire Danes, as a 19th century widow who moves to Essex to investigate the possible existence of a sea serpent.
