Paramount+ has dropped the first three hours of its new miniseries The Offer, about the making of the 1972 classic,The Godfather.  As a biographical drama, the show primarily relies on the real-life account of its central character, producer Albert S. Ruddy to disclose the gritty details behind the film's creation. On Today’s Episode, we discuss the best and worst parts of the series so far, as well as the reaction from critics and audiences. Under the Banner of Heaven had its two episode premiere Thursday, April 28th.   It’s a dark, creepy, murder mystery that sends a stark message about how cultish and backwards religions become when practiced by fundamentalists. It’s cast includes big names like Andrew Garfield, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Sam Worthington, and even a Culkin! The Man Who Fell To Earth is a new science fiction series on SHOWTIME about aliens on earth. Just like in Roswell, New Mexico, or Resident Alien the extraterrestrial beings have taken human form to complete a mission, yet quickly find some of our human customs difficult to adapt to and understand. 

The show was developed by Jenny Lumet and Alex Kurtzman, the same duo behind the recently canceled Clarice. It stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Naomi Harris and Bill Nighy. It is not a remake, but a continuation based on the 1976 David Bowie film and 1963 novel by Walter Tevis. On Today's Episode, we discuss the history of the show and the plot to the pilot. Gaslit premiered this Sunday, April 24th on STARZ. Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, and Dan Stevens star alongside a strong ensemble cast and an executive producer list that includes Mr. Robot’s Sam Esmail. The show dramatizes the events leading up to Richard Nixon’s 1972 Watergate Scandal. The pilot episode is titled 'Will' and runs an hour long. It is a western-scifi-thriller called Outer Range.  It stars Josh Brolin as Wyoming rancher and family man Royal Abbot who stumbles upon a mysterious void on his property. The mockumentary sitcom on ABC has just completed its first 13-episode season. The finale is titled Zoo Balloon, because it takes place during a field trip to the zoo and involves a hot air balloon. Jordan Temple is credited as the writer, Randall Einhorn the director. The show stars Quinta Brunson, Janelle James, Tyler James Williams, Lisa Ann Walker, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Chris Perfetti, and Zack Fox along with a bunch of elementary school kids.

Then came Elite, a teen soap/drama about a group of mostly privileged kids who attend a private secondary school making bad choices and finding themselves in the middle of multiple murder mysteries.
