  • L’incendie de Notre-Dame de Paris
A fire broke out in Notre-Dame cathedral
Notre-Dame in flames, images of the terrible fire
A fire broke out on April 15, 2019 in the late afternoon, at around 6:50 pm in Notre-Dame. According to firefighters, the fire is potentially linked to the ongoing work on the church. The fire started in the attic of the cathedral. The steeple collapsed two hours after the beginning of the fire, and we fear we might loose the whole cathedral. There are no casualties. However, a whole part of our historical and literary heritage with Victor Hugo, is going up in flames.
