Todd Bienvenu is an artist born in Little Rock, Arkansas who lives and works in Brooklyn. He received his BFA from the Louisiana State Univeristy and received his MFA from the New York Studio School. He’s had solo exhibits at Life on Mars Gallery, Galerie Bertrand in Switzerland and Yours, Mine and Ours Gallery on the Lower East Side.

Todd has shown in over seventy group shows with highlights such as Louis B. James gallery, BravinLee, Momenta Brooklyn, Lesley Heller, Steven Harvey Fine Arts, Brian Morris, TSA gallery and many more.

His work has been covered in Artnet, The New York Times, Artefuse, Art F City, the L Magazine, Artsy, Hyperallergic along with many others.

Brian met up with Todd at Yours Mine & Ours gallery in the closing days of his show “Water Sports,” and they talked about his days growing up in Louisiana and Little Rock, playing guitar and playing soccer, learning to paint, waiting tables on Bourbon Street, Karate Kid and a lot more.
