Today we are diving into the bonus chapter titled, “The Captain and the Prince.” This extra scene takes place between The Assassin’s Blade and Throne of Glass - however, we are analyzing it after completing TAB, TOG, and COM. This scenes takes place in Dorian's chambers and consists of a conversation between Dorian and Chaol roughly a year after Celaena had been captured. In preparation for the King of Adarlan’s “Champions Tournament,” they discuss Dorian’s participation and who he would pick as his champion.
