It’s the middle day of the year. I talked about that a lot. Also Fallout 4. Along with the normal blather.

Talked about the weather, the game, the Cat, and the book I’m reading: Westside Oracle by T.J. Deschamps.

Almost didn’t walk today. Glad I did. Mostly cloudy and a nice breeze kept the temps manageable even though I started late.

Talked about Jerry Boyd, Fallout 4, and Roger Mulligan.

Got the bread baked by 6am. Ate breakfast while it cooked and got on the road as soon as it came out. Talked about changing up the bread recipe (forgot to mention lowering the hydration to 60% to allow for the einkorn amendments), Jake’s Magical Market, and Fallout 4.

Not much to talk about today. The hearing aid journey, Jake’s Magical Market, Fallout 4, and – predictably – rye. Oh, and turkeys! I practically walked right through the flock of chicks.

I seem to have spent a lot of time talking about writing and very little talking about Fallout 4. I’m taking that as a Sign.

Darn. Caught the post in the image but it’s taken in the same minute as yesterday’s. What’re the odds?

Talked about hearing aids, pens, and what a lovely morning it is.

Still getting used to the tin ears but I’m getting used to them. The world sounds very different and my brain wants to say “wrong” when it’s probably closer to “right” than I’m used to.

Well, old ears with new appliances. It’s going to take a while to get used to having treble again.
