Heavy trucks in the neighborhood. Lot of brain fog, too. Talked about the usual suspects. Good stuff happened with yesterday’s writing. Hoping to repeat it today.

Not much to talk about. Getting back to writing. Playing X4. Wandering Inn is becoming a fascinating work, now that I’ve given it a fair shake.

Was up very early this morning and got out with the sunrise. Not much to talk about. More about Wandering Inn. More about X4. Some pen talk. The usual.

I went back to the old phone, making sure it was fully charged before leaving the house. I have a new adapter for the mic coming today (in theory) and I can work on using one device again. A fresh machine offers, perhaps, improved opportunities.

I talked too much about being overdressed for the weather, the clouds, Wandering Inn, and X4, among other things. I might have mentioned it was too warm…

Clunky but I think it works. Lemme know how the audio quality is.

Later start than I wanted because I baked bread this morning. I talked about why I have a new phone, Wandering Inn, and X4.

The sunrise is due east this morning but it’s hidden behind the cloud deck on the horizon (and probably the trees. Ah, well. It was still a pretty morning for a walk.

I talked about X4, Honour Rae’s All the Skills, Sarah Painter’s The Island God, and having to get a new phone. Saw some silent geese flying low overhead, but already in their V.

New mic. Same old set up. It should be back to “normal” for some definition of the word. Windy out there this morning and some of it snuck in around the wind filter on the mic.

Talked about cars, reading Sarah Painter’s Ward Witch (Unholy Island 1), and playing X4.

I’ve run a noise reduction pass post-production in addition to my usual. It should be little less obnoxious. I have plans and talked about them. I also updated this Linux installation and got an updated Audacity. I hope it still works.

I’ll probably still look for a better solution but for the moment, I’ll try recording through my hearing aids. Something I never thought I’d say. It sounds a bit noisy to me, but I don’t have a good baseline to compare it to. Let me know if this is not going to work?

I talked about Shannon Eichorn’s debut novel, Rights of Use. It’s darn good. Also pens and X4

Meandered around about pens, X4 Frustrations, and made it home in no time flat!

ETA: A lot of noise artifacts between minutes 13:00 and 15:00. Sorry. They don’t show up on Audacity and I can’t clear them up. Probably hardware issues.
