Tony Evans' Sermons - Audio

God loves to bless his people, but there’s a purpose behind His provision. We’ll discover that purpose as Tony Evans talks about the difference between being a conduit and a reservoir.

God helps us grow into the people he wants us to be. Tony explains that He does that, in part, because of what He wants us to do. Don’t miss this important look at why God’s provision is meant to be passed along.

When we think of hostages, we picture people being held at gunpoint or threatened in some other way. In this lesson from the life of Joseph, Tony Evans talks about the kind of hostage who could walk away at any time, but refuses to go.

People sometimes say, "When they made you, they broke the mold." But Wednesday on The Alternative, Tony Evans reminds us that there is no mold, that each of us is a "one of a kind" creation of God. Learn more about the connection between your uniqueness and your destiny.

Tony Evans says that a lot of what we consider “random” events in life aren’t random at all, but part of a design. He explores the biblical concept of “providence” and explains why luck, fate and chance have nothing to do with it.

Part of the human condition is wondering, “Why do the things that happen, happen?” Tony says that the Bible settles that question with a concept called “providence.” He helps us understand providence and how it looks in our lives.

The same level of thinking that got us into trouble isn’t likely to get us out of it. It takes something deeper. And that’s what Tony Evans shows us as he talks about three telltale signs that we’re done with the detours that have been delaying our destiny.

Sometimes it seems like the end of one detour in life lands us right at the beginning of another. Tony will let us in on the reason for that, as he continues his look at the life of Joseph and the detours that lead us to our destiny.

The shortest distance between two points may be a straight line, but Tony Evans says that when God takes us on a tangent, we need to learn to recognize what He’s doing and why. Tony will help us understand the value of divine detours and discover why they aren’t just an opportunity to grow, but an opportunity to serve.

Too often, even those who believe we were created by God don’t realize that we were created by God for a reason. Tony Evans kicks off a new series of messages that’ll help us understand our destiny and carry it out.
