Tony Evans' Sermons - Audio

Too often, even those who believe we were created by God don’t realize that we were created by God for a reason. Tony Evans kicks off a new series of messages that’ll help us understand our destiny and carry it out.

Tony Evans says that God designs detours in our life to help us grow and to prepare us for our destiny. But how do we know when these side trips are designed by God, set up by Satan or just the result of our own misguided thinking?

Joseph ran into more than his share of roadblocks on his way to reuniting his family and saving a nation. Tony explains why Joseph’s destiny depended on those detours—including one life-threatening pitfall he stepped into right after avoiding another one.

No matter how it seems, our lives always go according to plan. The problem is, it’s not our plan. Tony Evans talks about ways we can recognize God’s agenda when it differs from ours as he takes a look at the life of Joseph.

Just when we think we’re “ready” for what God has in store for us, God thinks we’re “ready” for more preparation and purification. Learn why, as Tony talks to us about the purpose behind the setbacks we run into and how to move past the detours to our destiny.

They say that life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans. Tony Evans begins a new series focusing on what we can learn from a man who had more than his share of unexpected twists and turns. Find out why many of the roadblocks we run into in life aren’t there by accident.
