Tony Simons is the Chair for the Riccarton Bush-Kilmarnock Residents Association and has heaped a wave of pressure on the Christchurch City Council to push back against housing intensification plans for the city.
Simons spoke to Newstalk ZB Canterbury Mornings about the vote yesterday, which saw ten councillors vote against the changes. He said he expected it to be close, but was delighted with the result and the support from councillors who voted no.
