I've had. many jobs throughout my lifetime. As we speak about what the journey looks like, I decide
to discuss and take a walk down memory lane. Also, Traveling is usually an easy thing for me...
but this trip didn't quite line up to that standard.
You got any bad travel stories? I would love to hear them.
Stay Healthy Family.

Season 2 begins with the most important and heaviest episode yet. So many things happening in the world and we are at a vulnerable and hateful time in America. Honestly, I'm tired.

On this episode of Too Good To Be Drew, I’m joined by Thomas R. Williams—a man who knows what it takes to win at the highest level, on and off the field.
From being a National Champion at USC to being drafted into the NFL, Thomas built his life around competition, resilience, and excellence. But when a career-ending injury forced him to hang up his cleats, he didn’t let that setback define him. Instead, he redefined his purpose.
Today, Thomas is a powerful speaker, author, and leadership coach, helping individuals and organizations reach their full potential. As a proud member of The Jon Gordon Speaking Team, he pours his passion into building stronger teams, positive leaders, and winning cultures.
In this conversation, we dive into:
Thomas’ story is proof that when life changes your plan, you can change your impact. Get ready to be inspired, motivated, and equipped with the tools to win in your own arena.
👉 Tune in, take notes, and let’s level up together.

"Momma named him Clay... So I'mma call him Clay."
Michael Clay’s journey is one of grit, leadership, and breaking barriers. A proud San Jose native, Clay launched his NFL coaching career in 2013 and quickly became one of the youngest special teams coordinators in the league. Since then, he’s thrived—coaching in three Super Bowls and capturing his first championship in Super Bowl 59, when the Eagles defeated the Chiefs.
Before coaching, Clay was a standout linebacker at the University of Oregon, where he helped lead the Ducks to multiple BCS Championship games, including the historic 2012 Rose Bowl victory over Wisconsin.
Beyond football, Clay embraces his roots as a first-generation American (his mother emigrated from Mexico) and enjoys life off the field on the golf course, sporting an impressive 7.1 handicap.
This episode dives into Michael’s path from player to coach, his experiences at the highest levels of football, and the values that continue to shape his journey.
