  • EP 038: Coach Wanna See you

"Coach wanna see you... bring your play book." Are the words you never wanna hear during any training camp.

The coach in fact does wanna see you, and it might be the last time he sees you ever.

I love bringing my audience into the football world and give them some of what professional athletes go through especially on the NFL side of things. A former teammate of mine put it squarely

    "it's hard, but it's fair."

Sports is a business and when you get down to it, it's pretty cutthroat. You have to develop skin of armor and toughness to get you through at times.

  • EP 036: Did Covid Help or Hurt Me? | Diagnosed with ADD/ADHD

Getting diagnosed with ADD/ADHD in my early 30's was something I didn't have on my bingo card, yet here we are. During the early part of Covid, I knew something wasn't quite right with me. I wasn't processing information from people with masks on. It took a while but venturing to finding that answer brought me results that couldn't come at a better time.

Join me as I talk about my journey navigating being diagnosed with ADD/ADHD and how I've come to grips with it.

  • EP 035: Was Scottie Scheffler Wrong? | Chasing a Fleeting Feeling

Professional golfer Scottie Scheffler says some powerful words in a recent interview before the US Open when discussing golf and life. I thought it was one of the most important interviews I've seen in recent memory.

He spoke from a place of honestly and vulnerability. This episode I break down and relate to those thoughts, feelings, and ideas and give the audience a call to action for being present and staying in the moment.

  • EP 033: How Can I (Drew) Get Better?

Hit the ground running when your feet touch the floor in the morning.

We only get so many days to make the best of it. Don't waste any.

As a Life Coach, I'm always working on myself. I'm always trying to gain an edge over the competition. More than anything, I want to be the best person for myself and the others around me.

I take a dive into a chapter of Ryan Leak's book, Leveling Up. He discusses asking the question "How Can I (you) Get Better."

Instead of yourself this question, when you ask the people surrounding you'll get a precise answer.

    Stay healthy.

  • EP 032: The F1 Movie | Leadership in Motion

The F1 movies with Brad Pitt & Damson Idris proved to be one of the better movies of the year and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm always going to find tidbits to take away from the movies and apply to in life or to my listeners.

There was one very touching part in the movie that made me smile ear to ear. We talk about mentorship on this show all the time and this scene depicted all that plus some.

    I couldn't wait to share.

Enjoy this Fast Friday session with a lesson on what leadership, growth, and development looks like first hand.

  • EP 031: Aime Zena | Actress & Dream Chaser

Enjoy these bonus guest episodes with ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

Aime Zena was born on a late night in December of 1996. Much of her childhood was formed by her west african immigrant parents who held her to the strong tenants of faith and education. After graduating third in her class from high school, Aime went on to attend Virginia Commonwealth University where she initially studied public relations but later changed her focus to homeland security and emergency preparedness. While a student there, she was part of many organizations but ultimately, interning for both of her federal senators would be her greatest extracurricular achievement. She graduated in December 2019 but then the world shut down a few months later. As many did, she pivoted during covid and started pursuing the path of the arts. She always had a connection to creativity but now was her chance to nourish it. Aime moved from Virginia to Los Angeles in 2022 to pursue her dream of acting. She attended a conservatory program for two years and continues to go after her dream today. She’s currently signed to Pacific Talent Models and Talent. Like many millennial/ gen-z cusps, she struggles with the changing landscape of the world around her; but Aime Zena holds hope after meeting so many other bright, young spirits on her journey.

  • EP 030: Training Camp is Here | How to Make the Team

Football is HERE... well it's almost here if we want to get technical.

Fall/training camp has begun for select teams but we are still weeks away from the 1st official game of the season. Much work needs to get accomplished before then but for some players this time is pivotal. It's their chance to separate them from the pack and possibly get a roster spot headed into the 2025 season.

I take time in this episode to hit on key points that can help players stand out on the college and professional level when it comes to impressing the coaches, making the team, or earning that starting stop. Of course it takes talent above everything else, but much of the battle is waged long before you step foot on the field or in the huddle.

Tune in for some insight into an NFL training camp as well as gems that can help you in your sport as well as your job/career.
