Today on Too Opinionated we sit down with director Cat Hostick!

Cat is one of Canada's most sought-after female directors. She was recently nominated for a Canadian Screen Award in 2022 for a Discovery Plus TV series: A Ghost Ruined My Life Executive Produced by Hollywood Horror Director Eli Roth. Her credits include shows that can be seen on Netflix, Crave, TVO, Amazon Prime and more. She has won awards at multiple festivals as a filmmaker for her feature films that she directed, wrote and acted in.

In addition, Cat has directed episodes of the new nightmarish anthology series Urban Legend, under the creative guidance of master of horror Eli Roth. The series showcases classic urban legends as you've never seen them before. Featuring lurking psychopaths, murderous mysteries, creepy creatures and twisting tales, these disturbing legends prey on our most deeply embedded fears to shock and terrify. Urban Legend is streaming now on Discovery+. Cat directed "Creep in the Walls" about two sisters who renovate a neglected house they've inherited from their mother who is haunting them after a series of unexplained occurrences, as well as The Haunted Shower following the story of a college freshman who accidentally uses the haunted shower everyone in her dorm stays away from.
