Kenric is best known for his portrayal of Scott in the television series The Walking Dead. He has also appeared in Star Trek: Discovery The Originals and Hawaii Five-0.

Kenric can next be seen alongside his wife Sonequa Martin-Green in the upcoming film Sarah's Oil.

Sarah's Oil is the remarkable true story of eleven year old Sarah Rector, an African American girl born in Oklahoma Indian Territory in the early 1900s, who believes there is oil beneath the barren land she's allotted and whose faith is proven right.
