Today on Too Opinionated, DJ, House Music Producer, Singer/Songwriter Nick Bewick drops in for a visit!

Nick Bewick discovered his passion for music at a young age. Growing up in Ohio, he enjoyed listening to the tunes of Daft Punk and Britney Spears, artists who inspired him to dream big and pursue a career in music. In the late 2000s, Nick took a leap of faith and made his way to the West Coast - planting roots in sunny Los Angeles, California.

From 2017 - 2020, Nick joined Core Church in Los Angeles, devoting his time weekly to sing for various services. Along with the rest of the world in 2020, performing at Core or at any live events was on hold. As a result, Nick decided to focus his energy on songwriting and producing his own music.

2021 was a banner year for Nick as he wrote, produced & released 7 original tracks, available on Spotify and Soundcloud - the most recent being MAKE IT BACK.

The inspiration behind MAKE IT BACK stems from a dream Nick had of one of his music idols, Mariah Carey. In his dream, she was singing lyrics that spoke to his soul. Shortly after he awoke, he forced himself to quickly record the hook into his voice notes. After writing the verses and the bridge around the hook, he felt that the song was a way to express a message that no matter what negative people do or say and no matter what the world tries to take from you, you can always make it back. His philosophy is that there is always hope - no one is ever never too far-gone to "make it back," no matter what adversities anyone has faced.
