Best known for his breakout role as Mr. Phillips in the critically acclaimed series Anne with an E, Stephen brought depth and quiet strength to his portrayal of a closeted schoolteacher navigating identity and acceptance in 1880s rural Canada. His performance became a fan favorite.

Stephen's range continued to impress as he stepped into the role of a cunning space pirate in Amazon Prime's hit series The Expanse. Shortly after, he joined the cast of CBS's medical drama Good Sam, turning what began as a two- episode guest spot into a season-long arc. Stephen is also known for his roles on Reign and Quantico.

Upcoming, Stephen stars in Stealing the Sky, directed by Megan Follows, and appears in Apple TV+'s sci-fi thriller Invasion.
