Happy Monday #tot fam!! In today's episode I am joined by Karlia - an old friend from high school. She offered to come on to the podcast to open up about her experience with mental health. In this episode, we discuss how Karlia was misdiagnosed with depression from year 9 to the age of 23 as well as her struggles with trauma, bipolar & eating disorders. We are not qualified to give out specific medical advice however, we will be discussing topics and disorders that Karlia has experienced first hand & the stigma and complications surrounding them. Some of these topics can be quite heavy & triggering for some, so I have left time stamps below if you need to skip through sections of the episode. I will also post some helpful website and phone numbers if you do need to seek help/talk to someone about these topics if you are experiencing them. If you're not feeling like yourself, please talk to someone. Seek help. Your mental health is of utmost importance.
