Mans are gonna have to chill on these dangerous samosa platters😬. Are y’all fasting? Shout out to all the mans who stayed true when it fell during the summer time. Those long days are hard. Arsy thinks it’s even harder in North America, while they be flipping the day around in the Middle East - which, hot take - is cheating! 💁🏽‍♂️Lol Meanwhile, what’s going on with the vaccine rollout? What a disaster. Hotspots were supposed to open up for 18-49 - but even that’s been botched. Plus, we were supposed to secured one of the largest stockpiles in the world per person, but a shit rollout plan? Dougie coming out with another wasteman of the week award. Summers around the corner, mans are golfing, and cyclists are out in full force. Which btw, some of these bikers need to chill and are asking to get clipped lol. The world lost hiphop royalty last week. RIP to the legend DMX ✊🏾😞. Mans were a hiphop force of nature from late 90s through the 2000s - from hits to movies, he did it all (shoutout to hiphop classic movie - Belly). The world also lost Prince Philip, the original Stedman. Mans lived a long 99yrs.
    Next up, Chet Hanks is at it with another culture vulture move. Mans went from spitting patois at award shows on social media, to dropping a hiphop banger - “white boy summer”. You know Tom Hanks is hella confused about this kid 😂 In other news, the always controversial Chris Sky was recently put on the Canadian no-fly list by the government of Canada. Then, local lawyer Caryma Sa’d made a comic about it clowning him and posted it on social media, and a raging IG beef ensued! 🤡

    Lala been doing some spring cleaning and found a box of old CDs and tapes. Mad rnb, hiphop, and reggae classic albums and mixtapes. Speaking of which, do y’all remember running the radio-coordinated voicemail message back in the 2000s? 😂 Meanwhile, provincial shutdown 3.0 is in full effect. How are y’all coping? Yorkdale was lookin like pre-covid era Boxing Day last week lolll. The joint was PACKED...smh🤦🏽‍♂️ Mans are convinced we’re being governed by a bunch of muppets fr. Also, Minister of education Stephen Lecce is a eeediat. Thinking back to a year ago, remember when Rudy Gobert coughed up on all the mic’s at a postgame interview and set off the domino effect across all the sports leagues? 😂. And is it RIP to legendary downtown spot - the Brassrail? Looking like it might be set to be sold for more condos 🙄. Mans get back into some of the classic skripper joints in the city. (Except Zanzibar😡). In other news, mans chop it up over wasteman Michael Rappaport getting into separate beefs with Kevin Durant, and Barstool sports. Lawsuits and Twitter DMs were on the menu, and it was hilarious 🤣👏🏾👏🏾

    Lala got a much needed, but lowkey, basement haircut after 5 months..while Arsy BEEN running the haircut flexes from the basement trini aunty 💇🏽‍♂️. Btw, y’all Axe gang or Old spice gang? Mans go into these two iconic brands with great commercials. Then, more vaccine talk - either it’s mass forwards for signing up at your local spot to get a jab, or conspiracy theories lol. Plus the Astra Zeneca reports this past week did not help, although Health Canada did report “No Blood clot cases in Canada” 🇯🇲😂. Speaking of which, mans were craving some Caribbean food and got into some classic Scarborough West Indian bar/restaurant spots - shout out to Windies and Twilight. Also, shout out to Toronto’s original Jamaican mayor, Rob Ford🤣. Mans take it back to the classic viral video of mayor Ford drunkenly speaking patois that turned into a hilarious music video 😂. Later, Arsy gives a breakdown of his CityPlace walking distance date options lol. Mans loved rooftop spots like Oasis on Mercer. Sadly, that block also had some trash like Wayne Gretzky’s and Wahlburgers 🙅🏽‍♂️. Brace yourselves for lockdown 3.0. Stay safe y’all! 🙏🏾

Toronto streets are hot (literally!) 🚗🔥Speaking of streets, the mans get into the legacy of the Fast & the Furious franchise, horror flicks, and legendary Fridays at the iconic Jumbo Video (free popcorn anyone 🍿?) Arsy tells a story of his shady and opinionated internet reseller, and the mans breakdown the proposed Rogers takeover of Shaw (Canadians getting robbed on internet and mobile outchea😡). Meanwhile Toronto housing so crazy that some ppl spending $600k for a DIGITAL HOUSE! Y’all think NFTs are forreal or are they just another addition to Arsy’s Toronto money laundering list alongside adult video shops and PATH stores 🤨?

On another note, Arsy is wondering how stores like Sirens are gonna survive the pandemic with club life shut down - which took the Mans wayyy back to the days of Electric Circus (shout out to the 90s baddie @MonicaDeol) to reminisce about all things we shouldn’t have been watching when we were kids. Mans touch on some illegal cable box flexes, regular cable hacks (shout out to showcase), and even the dutty mags lol 👀. Brown parents definitely didn’t know how to handle those situations 😂. Then, Mans dive into the the not so subtle vulgarity of music from back in the day that we definitely should not have been listening to as kids 🤫. Mans revisit hiphop classics from @Snoopdogg, @Ludacris, and even pop hits from @Otownofficial, @Sisqo, and Toronto’s own #B44, amongst others. Musicians were lowkey sayin some hella filthy shit - and we were singing it as kids! 😂. Moving on to newer music, Mans get into some #Grammy talk from last weekend. @LilBaby put on quite a performance, and Queen @Beyoncé broke a record. @BillBurr even caught some heat for mispronouncing a Latin artists name. Y’all really feelin some type of way about the house hippos eh? 😂 Then, Lala’s mind is blown by a breakfast-dessert crossover combination. Listen to the mans dive into the mechanics of a signature snack that will be coming to you at a TMP pop-up in the future 🙏🏾. Side note - vaccinations are ramping up and the general population might have access sooner than anticipated. Mans are about to walk into a hospital with a limp to finesse a shot still 😏. Meanwhile, Oprah ran a session with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - and there were some shocking revelations. Mans chop it up on some royal shit, with a wasteman of the week being given to UK trash bag @piersmorgan 🪣. What’s drizzy cookin up out here yo?!👀 In other news, recent polls suggest that “65% of downtown Toronto workers are ready to go back to the office.” How y’all feelin about this? Mans get into some real ‘shit talk’ with some office WC situations 😂, and then mans reevaluate the commute situations to deal with potentially getting back to downtown life. Lala is bout getting in early with that morning timmies run and get into the office first (which comes with its golden throne benefits 😬). That said, getting back to the office also come with its share of interesting characters. Mans jump into a segment of “office weirdos” - and fam, TRUST there are some stories here of bare dutty people still 🤢. On the flip side, there are also benefits to being back in the office/school/downtown life. Mans took a trip down memory lane spittin out some classic downtown Toronto entertainment district spots, like Cheval, Lot 332, Circa, and the OG, Guvernment🕺🏾. ENTITLD might have to go cop the now vacant CC lounge (another covid casualty) and make it the headquarters 👀. Then Mans discuss old school roommate situations. Lala lived in a wild 8-man party house during the university years, while Arsy had the classic city place spot. Different situations, but you know there were mad shenanigans all around. Toronto mans advice: as soon as the pandemic ramps down, mandem gotta ramp UP with the jams! 🤙🏾

Mans kept it classic this year with wings and pizza, but watch out for Duffs on college tho 😬. Wasteman of the week goes to...🥁 Your boy Premier Dougie Ford. Like, why are mans shouting out Tim Hortons egg sandwiches at a covid press conference? I can’t 🤦🏽‍♂️. On a similar note, Indian Prime Minister Modi is also hella waste. Big ups to the Indian farmer protests. We stand in solidarity ✊🏾. Gotta say, we love the brown entrepreneurial spirit of these uncles. Mans made a makeshift mall in the middle of the protest encampments 😂! I’m feeling shades of Pickering flea market, and we here for it 👏🏾👏🏾
